After the cells are thouroughly moistened,
I carefully shake the tray at my work area to help
settle the growing medium.
I then take my fingers and make small impressions
in the moist soil to help give the seed a bed.

I like to use seeds fresh out of a wintered pepper-
that is a pepper that has dried naturally and has either
been left over from last years garden - or stored in
 a tightly sealed glass jar
(HINT -- try putting seeds in refridgerator for two weeks before sowing).
